Duration : 3 months contract (with possible extension)

JobBrief(Purpose)

Underthedirectionofthedepartmentmanager,thepersoninthispositionisresponsibleforactinginthemosttimely,efficientandresponsiblemannertoprotecttheinterestoftheinvestorspursuanttothemortgagesservicedforthem.

Thedutiesspecificallyrelatetoallinsurancematters.Thisisaccomplishedwithintheparametersofindividualinvestorguides,PoolingandServicingAgreements,applicablelawandthemortgagedocuments.

Responsiblities :

ForYourAssignedPortfolio :

Review,analyzeandinterpretalltypesofpropertyandliabilityinsurancepolicies,operatingstatementsandpropertyappraisalsforcommercialloanstoensurecompliancewiththeloandocuments,investorrequirementsandinternalpoliciesandprocedures.

Manageandensurethedatacontainedintheservicingsystemisupdatedtoreflectthecurrentstatusregardinginsurancepolicyeffectivedatesandcoverageamounts.

Monitorandmanagethedisbursementofpaymentofallinsurancepremiumsforthecommercialmortgageloansforwhichthereareescrowfundsbeingheldandanyforceplaceinsurancepremiums.

Monitorandcollectthenecessarydocumentationtodeterminethatallnon-escrowedloanshaveadequateinsurancepoliciesinforce

Initiateandoverseeanyforcedplaceinsurancecoveragethatisrequiredduetoinactionoftheborrower.

Overseeandadministerallcasualtylossesincurredonthecommercialproperties.Thisincludes,butisnotlimitedto,analyzingtheseverityofthelossbyreviewinglossaffidavits,engineeringreports,etc.,arrangingpropertyinspections,andprocessingdisbursementrequestsfromthelossproceeds.

Correspond,eitherverballyorinwriting,asnecessarywithborrowers,insuranceagents,andinsurancecompaniestoresolveanyissuesordiscrepanciesrelatedtoinsurance.

Interactwithinternaldepartmentsasneededtoresolveanyissuesordiscrepanciesrelatedtoinsurance.

Administerallcustomerinquiriesandrequeststhatrelatetocommercialpropertyinsurance

Assistwithservicingacquisitionrelatedtasks.

Trainnewemployees.

Assistthedepartmentsupervisorwithotherdutiesasassigned.

Actasresourcetootherdepartmentmembersandinternal / externalcustomers.

RequiredQualifications

MinimumtwoyearsbroadbasedcommercialpropertyinsuranceorrelatedexperienceorFour-yearcollegedegree.

Legaldocumentreviewandinterpretationexperience.

Extensiveknowledgeofthevarioustypesofcommercialpropertyinsurancepolicies.

Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.

PreferredQualifications

Commercialloanservicingexperience

Four-yearcollegedegree.

Commercialinsuranceagencyorinsurancecarrierworkexperience.

ExperiencewithMcCracken / Strategyloanservicingsystem.

Efficientintheuseofwordprocessingandspreadsheetsoftware,suchasWordandExcel.

Abilitytomulti-taskeffectively.

Abilitytofunctionina“deadlinedriven”environmentandprioritizeresponsibilities.

Abilitytoworkinateamenvironmentandmotivateothers.
