Travel MRI Technologist - $2,448 per week

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Duties : Perform high-quality MRI exams using advanced radiologic techniques and equipment, ensuring diagnostic accuracy and patient safety. Prepare and position adult and / or pediatric patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and compliance with safety protocols. Correlate clinical history with procedures ordered and perform scans according to established protocols and physician directions. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal care outcomes. Transfer and archive images / data, input technical findings, and ensure studies are ready for interpretation by a radiologist. Conduct post-procedure review to ensure all technical and documentation requirements are met. Perform basic quality control and user maintenance on MRI equipment in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain required competencies and certifications. Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail, especially under emergent or high-pressure conditions. Ensure accurate record keeping, data entry, and compliance with privacy and safety regulations. Qualifications : Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent education with MRI emphasis. Current AHA BLS certification required. Strong knowledge of radiologic principles , cross-sectional anatomy , and MRI safety protocols . Ability to communicate professionally with patients, families, and care teams. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong attention to detail, time management, and critical thinking skills. Must be dependable, adaptable, and calm under pressure. Prior experience in a hospital-based MRI setting preferred but not required.
