Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our Repair Team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in automotive repair, with a strong focus on electrical and technology. They will also have a strong understanding of powertrains, engines, diagnostic tools and equipment.

Summary

We are seeking an Automotive Technician to join our dedicated team at DeLacy Ford. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and repairing vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and their vehicles are in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and repair work on passenger vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and make recommendations for repairs.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate estimates for repairs.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive repair.

Automotive certification from Ford or another manufacturer is a plus.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Excellent mechanical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong customer service skills.
