ABOUT THE JOB

The Mailroom Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring smooth mailroom operations while overseeing a small team at Helena's Corporate office.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Supervises the daily operations of the mailroom, including oversight of Mailroom Associates.
• Manages and prioritizes print job requests, working directly with employees to ensure timely completion.
• Requests service on machines and orders supplies as needed.
• Keeps weekly or monthly logs for meter readings, postage machine usage, mail pieces, etc.
• Provides backup coverage for the front desk Receptionist as needed. This includes answering the front door buzzer to admit vendors, visitors, etc.
• Answers e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner.
• Takes all mail to post office at the end of the day.
• Prepares and ships packages through U.S. mail / UPS / FedEx.
• Operates FedEx Express powership computer and verifies all FedEx Express bills for payment.
• Prepares and ships packages through U.S. mail / UPS / FedEx.
• Sorts mail according to destination and type such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders and payments.
• Investigates and implements quality improvements for the mailroom.
• Interfaces occasionally with vendors of mailing equipment.
• Examines outgoing mail for appearance and applies appropriate postage.
• Maintains daily count of postage issued through postage meter.
• Provides assistance to other departments as needed (i.e., relocating supplies, office furniture, boxes, etc.).
• Required to drive a company vehicle.
• Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
• Reliable and regular attendance is required.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required for all positions at Helena.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ASPECTS OF THE JOB

The work environment for this position is that of a typical office environment where the noise level is mostly quiet. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 10 pounds.
