Overview

The Director, Medical Affairs designs and executes strategies for the data dissemination team and oversees the successful execution of Medical Affairs strategies in coordination with cross-functional partners such as Market Access, Marketing, Clinical Trials and broader Medical Affairs leaders. The Director, Medical Affairs will set strategic direction for specific Medical Affairs initiatives including real world evidence (RWE), clonoSEQ, external scientific alliances including studies, medical publications, patient publications, as well as conference planning within the US and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Set strategic direction for Medical Affairs initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
  • Lead and contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of research projects and other evidence-generating activities.
  • Develop and execute data dissemination strategies including publications and educational events.
  • Drive data generation activities, including sponsored studies, collaborations, registries, and real-world evidence.
  • Develop content and training infrastructure for medical field support in coordination with Field Directors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with commercial, Market Access, and other departments to align medical strategies with cross-functional goals.
  • Design educational strategies for academic and community clinicians in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure high scientific standards across the team through training and mentoring.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors + 15 years of related experience, or
  • Masters + 12 years of related experience, or
  • PhD + 8 years of related experience
  • 4 years of supervisory experience
  • Terminal Degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in Medical Affairs strategic development, publication planning, KOL relationship development, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, professional presentation abilities, and leadership by example
  • Working Conditions

  • Willingness to travel 10-20%
  • Compensation

    Salary Range : $181,500 - $272,300
