Foot Locker Equipment Operator
Now hiring at $21.00 / hour! Step into your future with Foot Locker! The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of all equipment within the Service Center. Duties may include accurately moving, stacking, and loading product, consolidating, and staging pallets for put away. The Equipment Operators position requires associates to be taken up to 30 feet in the air on equipment. Automation Operators duties include ensuring maximum throughput, first level troubleshooting of equipment problems including use of computer logs and communicating labor needs to maximize the running hours of the machinery. All operators must be able to certify on any machine within the warehouse as business needs dictate.
Rate : $21.00 / hour
Shifts Available : Monday - Thursday 2am - 12 : 30pm
Responsibilities
- Safely operate all equipment within the distribution center.
- Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift and at full capacity.
- Perform routine inspection on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, write, operate RF and Print and Apply printing device, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
- Brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.
- Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Physical Demands : Required to stand and walk during scheduled hours. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods. Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed. Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed. Must be able to meet the certification and operating requirements for machines including all OSHA and harness regulations.Required Education and Experience : High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 6 months of previous equipment operations experience highly preferred. Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills and effectively communicate in case of emergencies.Benefits
