Supply Chain Planning Analyst

Step into a fast-paced role within Caterpillar's Electric Power Division, where you'll help keep production moving by managing material flow and supporting supply chain operations. As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst, you'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in one of Caterpillar's most dynamic business units.
What You Will Do :
- Manage purchase orders and ensure accurate pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.
- Coordinate with suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials for production.
- Track open orders and expedite shipments to meet project deadlines.
- Partner with internal teams (operations, logistics, engineering, project management) to align material flow with production needs.
- Maintain accurate data across ERP systems and resolve order discrepancies.
- Build strong supplier relationships through clear communication and follow-up.
- Support outsourcing activities, including blanket POs and vendor-managed inventory.
- Use Excel, ERP, and Power BI tools to monitor supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist with supplier selection and pricing for customer proposals.
- Contribute to system maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
- Take on additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
Degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Summary Pay Range : $79,800.00 - $119,760.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
