Illinois Roofing, A Tecta America Company is a commercial roofing contractor, has been in business for over 30 years. Our team has a combined average of 33 years of roofing experience. We are comprised of talented and experienced professionals who are knowledgeable and will be able to answer your roofing questions. We provide a full range of roofing services, including commercial and industrial roofing, re-roofs, leak repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and 24 / 7 service.

We are currently seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative for our Lisle, IL office.

This role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong background in sales and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for building client relationships and providing tailored solutions, we encourage you to apply.

Job Functions

  • Prospect via cold calls, emails, door-to-door calls, networking and referrals
  • Follow up on direct mail campaigns
  • Set sales appointments with key decision makers at prospective client companies
  • Establish rapport and develop long-term business relationships with clients over the course of an extended sales cycle
  • Partner with clients to establish their needs
  • Present clients with the most appropriate solutions
  • Assemble proposals and reports for clients
  • Submit all contacts and documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain all sales activity in the Tecta CRM program
  • Follow up with clients on a periodic basis to ensure that their expectations are being met and to get referrals
  • Work with Service Manager to understand where / how to generate additional leads and referrals
  • Coordinate with service manager to develop sales strategies and, when necessary, to close deals
  • Manage the service projects won through your efforts.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience :

  • Demonstrated success in sales and a strong record of achievement and results.
  • Ability to apply negotiation skills to a variety of sales situations.
  • 3 years sales experience in roofing, construction or a related field preferred (Not required)
  • Ability to manage / qualify leads and close business through direct contact or over the phone.
  • Excellent track record in developing relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust.
  • Solid verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to climb ladders and walk / inspect roofs.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to travel locally out of the office 80% of the time.
