ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Surgical Nurse (Ortho) - Days\n\n

Schedule\n

This position requires a flexible schedule consisting of 4 x 10 hour shifts, with start times varying between 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM or 9 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM based on departmental needs. On a rotating basis, you will be required to work one 8-hour shift every third weekend.

\n\nJob Description\n

You will primarily support orthopedic surgical cases in the main operating room and may also assist with general surgery cases as needed. Your commitment includes working an 8-hour shift and / or taking call for one summer holiday and one winter holiday. Call hours may require coverage from 7 PM to 7 AM or 7 AM to 7 PM on weekends.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Adhere to a rotating weekend call schedule, covering shifts and taking call from Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 AM.

    • \n

  • Provide care in the operating room for orthopedic and sometimes general surgery cases.

    • \n

  • Respond to call-in requests within 30 minutes of notification to complete cases.

    • \n

  • Participate in the scheduled coverage for late calls after shifts, fulfilling the requirement to take one L1, one L2, and one L3 call per week.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

    Having relevant nursing certification and experience in surgical nursing is required for this role.
