Join to apply for the Editor II (Contingent) role at Amazon . This contract role provides services to Amazon via Allegis Global Solutions. If selected, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform content segments from single-use to a reusable “headless” structure, chunking unstructured long-form content into structured components and managing migration from multiple sources.
  • Adhere to and promote the use of our content taxonomy, ensuring all content is tagged and described appropriately for discovery and reusability.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse content and reduce manual effort required to maintain duplicate information in multiple places.
  • Respond to customer requests to create and update content in our content management system within defined contact SLAs and delivery timelines.
  • Review and edit written content—articles, policies, assets, or content fragments—for grammar, spelling, accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Audit and monitor existing content and analyze data to maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all content.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional content management experience in a system like Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, or WordPress.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience working with reusable or “headless content.”
  • Advanced English language skills with full proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation (minimum C1).

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, technical writing, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Content ops experience managing content for AI applications.
  • Real‑world experience with information architecture and content models.
  • High attention to detail and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Demonstrated success learning and explaining business processes.
  • Proven knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Good judgment and open, proactive communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholder needs in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Work experience in a global and cross‑functional team environment.
  • Experience with content metrics and analysis.
  • Experience with or exposure to Amazon business processes.
  • Experience in a multi‑language publishing environment managing content for an international audience.

    Bellevue WA (onsite)

    Pay Range

    $36 - $40 per hour
