Job Description

Are you a Finance or Health Care Revenue Cycle expert with a flair for problem-solving and excellent communication skills? MaineGeneral Health is on the lookout for its next Customer Service superstar! As a Customer Service Representative - Accounts Receivable, you'll play a crucial role in handling patient billing issues, setting up payment arrangements, providing price estimates, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage large volumes of incoming calls with a focus on excellent customer service
• Build relationships and trust with patients through open and interactive communication
• Resolve patient account issues, including setting up payment plans and addressing billing / collection errors
• Collaborate with internal / external resources to investigate and resolve issues
• Document and note patient accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Assist with account-related special projects
