Job Description

We are seeking a Service Desk Engineer (Level 0) to join our IT support team in Lakeland, Florida. This is an entry-level role focused on providing front-line support, handling tickets, and assisting end-users with their day-to-day IT needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Act as the first point of contact for all IT support requests (phone, email, or ticketing system).
  • Log, categorize, and prioritize incoming tickets accurately.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for issues related to :
  • User accounts and password resets
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Windows operating system navigation
  • Network connectivity (Wi-Fi, VPN, basic IP checks)
  • Printer and peripheral setup / support
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Level 1 / Level 2 support.
  • Maintain clear communication with users, ensuring timely updates and resolution tracking.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of IT systems, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, Zendesk, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Availability to work on-site in Lakeland, FL.
