We are seeking a versatile and self-motivated marketing content specialist to join our marketing team as they continue driving that reach and growth. In this role, you will plan, develop, and execute content strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales enablement. You will synthesize complex subject matter into clear, concise, and persuasive content for digital and traditional mediums while working closely with a designer to create vibrant marketing assets.
You’ll write for B2B and B2C audiences, maintaining an editor’s eye to ensure consistent application of brand style and voice across all channels. As a member of our dynamic and collaborative marketing team, you’ll be involved in projects from start to finish, gain valuable new skills, and actively contribute wherever needed. Our firm is committed to professional development, so you’ll receive ongoing mentorship and growth opportunities. A proactive, team-first attitude is essential for success. This role reports to our Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities : Simplify complex topics to create compelling blog articles with an eye toward SEO. Manage the ongoing blog calendar.
Own our LinkedIn and Instagram channels, write copy, and collaborate with a designer to create thumb-stopping social media content. Analyze performance with monthly reporting. Create social content for leadership, as needed.
Write emails, including newsletters, campaigns, and internal communications. Build and schedule campaigns in HubSpot, as needed.
Write website content and assist in SEO efforts with digital agency support.
Develop long-form thought leadership content, like case studies, white papers, and articles.
Create content for sales enablement and recruiting materials, including presentations, flyers, and videos.
Support public relations content such as award submissions and press releases.
Qualifications : Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field; or commensurate experience
3-5 years writing experience in B2B marketing or communications. Professional services content experience preferred.
Excellent communication, writing (long-form and short-form), editing, and storytelling skills
Deadline-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
HubSpot, Hootsuite, and WordPress experience a plus
Ability to work a hybrid schedule out of our Lincolnshire, IL headquarters
