Set Builder (Set Carpenter)

The Set Builder (Set Carpenter) is responsible for constructing and installing temporary environments for photography, video, and in-store simulations. From simple wall builds to complex multi-room sets and faux store environments, you will bring creative concepts to life through expert carpentry and problem-solving. This role requires strong craftsmanship, physical stamina, and the ability to collaborate with set designers and production teams in a dynamic studio environment.

Core Competencies & Expertise

• Build, assemble, and install set structures such as modular wall panels, doors, windows, flooring, and other architectural elements.
• Collaborate with set designers to translate design concepts into physical builds (often without formal blueprints).
• Manage and maintain the onsite woodshop, ensuring tools and materials are organized, safe, and operational.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on reusable set pieces and modular elements.
• Uphold and model safety standards in all builds and shop operations.
