Overview
We are seeking a Sourcing Manager - Raw Materials with strong commercial mindset and who is ready for a challenge. In this role, you drive and implement sourcing strategies through negotiations and proactive supplier management to optimize total cost of ownership and to ensure security of supply. You work closely with the Business Unit (BU), advise on market and raw material development and work in tandem improve overall competitiveness.
This position manages spend between 40-60MUSD.

Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement sourcing strategies through RFPs and supplier negotiations which optimizes the Total Cost of Ownership and ensures Security of Supply.
- Develop and Maintain relationships with key raw material suppliers across, geographical regions, including contract negotiations and risk mitigation.
- Lead cross functional quarterly reviews with Key Suppliers focusing on security of supply, supplier performance, competitiveness and innovation.
- Lead change processes (MOC) for direct raw materials and new suppliers, including gathering supplier data, launching MOCs, tracking approvals, and prompting stakeholders.
- As a Procurement Partner to a Business unit, you build solid relationships with key stakeholders and communication on relevant markets, products, trends.
- Prepare monthly raw material pricing variance reports and ensure forecast accuracy, while keeping business units informed on trends and contracts.
- Follow procurement processes such as pricing tickets, vendor setup, and volume placement to ensure operational consistency.
- Deliver U.S. cost savings targets by applying sourcing strategies and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles.
- Lead by example and drive compliance to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO50001 standards.
Requirements
5 - 8 years of sourcing or procurement experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or oil & gas manufacturing sectors, preferably in a global settingProven ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and execute sourcing strategies.Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis, pricing variance reporting, and inventory optimization.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and time management skills.Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus.Desired skills and experience
