Manager, Digital Technology Office

The Manager, Digital Technology Office is responsible for managing and developing a team of Digital Product Owners. This position ensures business objectives aligning to the Marketing strategy and company strategy are accomplished through the development of ecommerce digital products, through product development standards and best practices. The position's focus is on coaching and developing staff, ensuring product development and prioritization aligns with organization objectives and expectations, monitoring the progress of projects and initiatives, taking appropriate action when needed. This is not exclusively an essential onsite role, though may require some onsite attendance.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the team on vision, design and implementation of quality products, facilitating collaboration and cohesion in vision between products
  • Evaluate and leverage insights, analytics, and research with product teams to best prioritize product and feature development and communicate the "why" to the business, keeping customer experience at the forefront of product development strategy
  • Partner with IT, working together to optimize technical decisions and execution of solutions, balancing time-to-market, time-to-value, and technical trade-offs
  • Foster a team culture of "what if," continuously seeking inspiration from customers, internal stakeholders, competitors, business partners, and encouraging | devising | facilitating | commissioning research and testing
  • Lead and support vendor identification, evaluation and selection, in collaboration with IT and stakeholders
  • Lead in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and applications and create migration plans
  • Lead in identifying and recommending design alternatives for business systems
  • Lead and be accountable for delivery of key milestones and program goals, in collaboration with IT
  • Communicate, and ensure team's communication, with stakeholders and the business, using various tactics and channels depending on the message and audience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 5+ years DigiKey and / or industry experience in Sales, Marketing, IT, or other relevant work experience
  • Typically, 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of DigiKey's available & upcoming products and services
  • Demonstrated strong presentation skills for a variety of audiences, including executive management
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of DigiKey processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze reports as well as confidence to make recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to actively participate as a member of the DigiKey Management Team to meet departmental goals
  • Demonstrated a high level of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in the organization and distribution of workload
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
  • Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
  • Compensation :

    The base pay range for this position is : $110,000 to $155,000. Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate's work experience in related roles; the candidate's knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position.
