Reports To : Medical Director
Job Summary : The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services, including urgent care, to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate.Order and interpret diagnostic tests.Provide preventive care, such as vaccinations and health screenings.Manage urgent care cases, including triage and initial treatment.Respond to patient inquiries and medication refill requests.Clinical Operations :Collaborate with the Medical Director and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.Participate in chart reviews and quality assurance activities.Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.Become proficient in the electronic medical record system and serve as a resource for other clinicians.Qualifications :
Education : Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner.Licensure : Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of New Jersey.Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in a primary care setting.Skills :Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in electronic health records.Bilingual (Spanish) or (Korean) preferredAdditional Considerations :
