Hotel Director of Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Director of Sales at our Candlewood Suites and Homewood Suites in Gonzales, LA to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our sales strategies, foster client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our hotel. If you are a results-oriented professional with a passion for hospitality and sales, we invite you to join our team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the hotel's customer base
  • Oversee the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and presentations
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with brand standards and service quality
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in sales leadership within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute them effectively
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights
