What you will do :

• Lead with Purpose : Direct landfill operations to meet and exceed Federal, State, and Local regulations while pioneering new waste management solutions
• Engineer the Future : Oversee critical landfill engineering systems including leachate and landfill gas management
• Develop Strategic Vision : Develop and implement long-term plans for solid waste facilities and operations
• Manage Resources : Prepare and oversee operational budgets and capital improvement projects
• Cultivate Excellence : Elevate organizational success by empowering your team to reach their highest potential through strategic mentorship and transformative leadership
• Drive Innovation : Serve as a subject matter expert and professional engineer for the Department
• Being an Industry Leader : attending and presenting at industry conferences, etc.

Starting Pay Range : $94,000.00 - $103,000.00 / annually, based on your experience.
