Export Control Specialist

TechOp Solutions is seeking a skilled Export Control Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of export regulations and a proven ability to classify technologies, items, and services in alignment with regulatory standards. They will be a detail-oriented and solutions-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and contributes effectively to both independent tasks and team-based projects. (Potential for telework, but candidates must be willing and available to work on-site up to 5 days per week if required.)

Responsibilities :

• Perform self-determined classification of items, services, and technologies into ECCNs and USML categories.
• Identify applicable export exemptions and licensing requirements.
• Draft assessments, briefings, technical evaluations, and regulatory interpretations.
• Maintain and update compliance databases with review data and findings.
• Support the development of training materials and outreach products.
• Provide programmatic and technical input for reviews and policy development.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
