Job Title : Electrical Assembly Technician (1st Shift)

Job Description

Assist in the mechanical and electrical assembly of customer products, with a focus on reading and understanding wiring schematics and diagrams (480v, 120v, 24v). In this role, you will be involved in crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing UL panels and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and switchgear systems, focusing on 3-phase power distribution.
• Pull wire, crimp wire, install, and test wiring using point-to-point methods.
• Use tools such as multimeters, wire strippers, crimpers, and torque wrenches.
• Perform part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule.
• Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels.
• Work under direct supervision, with frequent monitoring of output.
• Maintain documentation and update panel layouts as needed.
• Follow manufacturing protocols and lean production principles.
• Adhere to detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics.
• Ensure assigned area is clean and organized according to 5S standards.
• Comply with all company security policies.
• Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members.
• Keep inventory personnel informed of spare parts inventory and locations.

Work Environment

Work in an extremely clean, temperature-controlled environment. The electrical assembly area consists of cell stations with large working areas. Monday to Friday 1st and 2nd shift are available, with the requirement to be available for Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $30.00 / hr.
