Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with CA license and 2+ years of experience for a dayshift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is within a hospital nuclear medicine department
  • Works directly with patients scheduled for imaging procedures
  • Utilizes nuclear medicine imaging equipment to perform scans as ordered
  • Prepares and administers radiopharmaceutical dosages
  • Day shift schedule : Wednesday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • No floating, on-call, or weekend requirements unless census is low; may float to other locations if needed
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred
  • Responsibilities include explaining procedures and providing reassurance to patients during exams
  • Must maintain and ensure safe operation of imaging equipment
  • Orientation includes completion of designated e-learning modules
  • Must provide two supervisor references from the past two years
  • Return staff policy requires a one year gap for consideration as a traveler
  • Only one holiday time-off request will be approved during the contract

  • Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (NMT cert) required
  • Current CA state license required, license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years recent nuclear medicine technologist experience required
  • All certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of consideration
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • 50-mile radius requirement for eligibility
