Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Electrician to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of injection and blow molding machinery . The ideal candidate will hold a valid Michigan State Electrical License (Journeyman or Master Electrician) and possess strong experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial electrical systems and automated machinery.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of injection molding and blow molding machines , robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, machine manuals, and blueprints to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, including PLCs, motor controls, sensors, HMIs, and servo systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime and increase equipment reliability.
- Install, upgrade, and modify electrical wiring and components in compliance with NEC codes and company standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical maintenance and production teams to ensure efficient machine operation.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety policies.
Job Qualifications :
Valid Michigan State Electrical License – Journeyman or Master level (required).Minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably with plastic molding equipment .Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Omron, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) , motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation.Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with injection and blow molding machine brands (e.g., Engel, Milacron, Nissei, etc.) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Behavioural Expectations :

Work may be performed in diverse climate conditions and may be at variable heights or in confined spaces. Occupational risks include electrical shocks, arc flashes, falls, and injury from lifting and kneeling. May be exposed to noise, dust, and other hazards. Will be required to stand for long periods of time.
