Service Monitoring Engineer
The Department of Administration's Office of Technology and Information Services is the state's central provider of IT services to state government agencies. We are seeking a talented Service Monitoring Engineer to join our team. This role is an integral part of our Vulnerability Remediation / Service Monitoring team. The Service Monitoring Engineer is responsible for ensuring the continuous availability and optimal performance of DTO Shared Services and infrastructure systems. This role monitors system dashboards, network operations, server uptime, shared service application status and hardware status across the enterprise. Respond promptly to outages and performance issues and ensuring the correct functional team is aware of any potential issues. Work closely with IT support, infrastructure and security teams to detect, report and resolve incidents and contributes to the reliability and resiliency of critical systems.
This position is onsite in beautiful Columbia, South Carolina.
