Project Management Specialist Ii
As a Project Management Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing and executing projects that drive operational excellence and efficiency. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
You will report directly to our Project Management Manager, and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. Note : For the first 90 days, New Hires will report onsite M-F.
In this role, you will impact the organization by leading project initiatives that enhance productivity and streamline processes. Your contributions will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the management of all assigned customer change orders throughout the life cycle of a given project
Work with a sense of urgency; proactively engage with project management / legal and support lead Program Managers when dealing with matters of project scope of work, performance, and schedule change
Administer existing customer contracts with interaction with Legal, Program, Project, and Cost / Estimating Teams
Support broader Customer Change Control Team in the triage of inbound change requests, including the creation and reconciliation of change orders in our systems
Maintain, analyze, and update change order records and support project forecasting
Engage in regular communications with internal stakeholders; communicate change order status during PMR and cross-functional meetings
Prepare, analyze, and evaluate change orders and proposals to ensure they are compliant with company policy, program requirements, and department operating procedures
Respond to data calls and support all internal and external audit activities
