Position Title : Travel -Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location : Sonora, CA, USA

Shift : Day Shift (40 hours per week)

Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

Salary Range : $50 - $60 per hour

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team in Sonora, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine procedures, including PET imaging, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform nuclear medicine scans and procedures, including PET imaging, according to established protocols.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans.
  • Educate patients about procedures, potential side effects, and post-procedural care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB RT(NM)) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • CA state license or eligibility for licensure in California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine, with significant experience in PET imaging preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
