Trillium Construction is hiring an Equipment Rental & Repair Manager for a client who is Minnesota's largest welding supply company.

With extensive offerings in welding equipment rentals, industrial gas delivery, medical gas supply (including Nitrogen, Argon, food-grade CO2, Oxygen), and full-service welding support, this company has built a reputation as a trusted partner across the state's industrial and fabrication markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to step into a well-established organization that values transparency, employee ownership, and operational excellence.

Schedule is full-time, MondayFriday (schedule flexibility available). Pay is $80,000$100,000 DOE + Annual Profit-Sharing Bonus.

As the Equipment Rental & Repair Manager, you will oversee both the rental fleet and the in-house repair shop. You'll lead a team of Rental Associates and Service Technicians, ensuring the proper maintenance, inspection, and delivery of welding machines and accessories. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise with operational planning and customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the rental and repair departments
• Evaluate fleet usage, order new equipment, and sell used units as needed
• Provide direction and support to team members on equipment preparation, diagnostics, and repair
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 QMS standards
• Track and manage machine and parts inventory
• Coordinate customer rental orders and service requests
• Resolve escalated issues and finalize billing
• Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized shop
• Support team members on complex repairs
• Maintain Certified Technician status with major equipment manufacturers
• Operate forklifts and organize equipment using racking systems
