Job Summary :

We are seeking a Certificate of Insurance (COI) Subject Matter Expert to support our vendor onboarding process. This role will ensure that service providers meet the organization’s insurance coverage standards and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial property and casualty (P&C) insurance , experience with COI review, and the ability to translate technical insurance details into actionable guidance.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide subject matter expertise on P&C insurance coverage requirements for vendors

Review, approve, and track Certificates of Insurance (COIs) submitted by service providers or their agents

Document insurance requirements with clear guidance and sample COIs

Support the development and refinement of Certificate of Insurance Standards to align with industry benchmarks

Act as a liaison between service providers and internal teams during onboarding and renewal reviews

Use CMMS platforms (e.g., ServiceChannel) to manage compliance document submissions

Assist with operational tasks related to onboarding and vendor compliance

Required Experience :

Background in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry

Experience with vendor onboarding and compliance processes

Strong understanding of COI coverage requirements and service provider compliance needs

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Hands-on use of ServiceChannel or similar CMMS tools

Experience working with large-scale financial or facilities organizations

Required Skills :

Certificate of Insurance (COI) review and approval

P&C insurance compliance expertise

Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Skills :

CMMS system knowledge (ServiceChannel)

Vendor management and onboarding support

Additional Skills :

Ability to refine insurance standards and compliance processes

Knowledge of risk management practices related to vendor services
