This Alabama-based general contractor is seeking a superintendent. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with weekends off.

The client has been in business for over 20 years and has maintained a low overhead and high margin approach. They are scaling their business with a goal of hitting $100M annually by 2030. They focus on pre-engineered metal structures, CMU buildings, and some wood-frame work including remodels.

Job Description

Traveling Superintendent Duties :

• Develop the Project Vision and Create the Project Schedule
• Supervise entire construction staff, ensuring project deadlines are met
• Ability to predict and overcome project challenges
• Maintain a strong relationship with Project Managers
• Lead weekly meetings to ensure the team is working together successfully and delivering quality work
• Maintain OSHA requirements
• Mentor less experienced construction professionals
• Track project documentation, tasks, issues, etc.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors
• Travel required
