Structured Finance / Specialty Finance Senior Credit Analyst

The Structured Finance / Specialty Finance Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring and portfolio management of a portfolio of clients where the repayment of the loan is based on cash flows provided by various asset classes.

Responsibilities include assessing the credit risk and quality of transactions in the portfolio, assisting relationship manager and portfolio manager in underwriting and managing transactions according to the bank established guidelines and policies, analyzing transactions and creating credit memoranda for new loans and modifications, analyzing client financial statements, managing the renewal process by working with the RM and PM, the client and the credit department, reviewing legal documentation for accuracy and compliance with approval requirements, ensuring the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship follows established EWB credit policy, procedures, and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines, providing ongoing monitoring of credit / covenant compliance, performing other administrative duties required for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with EWB regulatory and credit requirements, and maintaining knowledge of market conditions.

Qualifications include a basic understanding of structured finance and securitization, ability to understand and analyze financial statements, ability to understand and analyze complex loan structures, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong Excel skills.

Education and experience required include a bachelor's degree required; major or minors in accounting, finance, or economics preferred, and at least three years of experience in structured finance / securitization / specialty finance.

The base pay range for this position is USD $67,000.00 / Yr. - USD $95,000.00 / Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
