Sr. Fund Accountant
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Oversee the accounting and reporting for multiple funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards. Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits. Reconcile fund transactions, including investments, distributions, and capital calls. Analyze and review fund performance metrics, providing insights to stakeholders as needed. Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and compliance reporting. Support ad hoc projects and initiatives related to fund accounting and financial reporting.
A successful Sr. Fund Accountant should have : a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles; experience in financial statement preparation and analysis; proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills; strong communication and collaboration abilities.
