Job Description

As a Security Guard - Petrochemical Patrol Driver in Wheatfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You'll play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical locations.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards in the environment.

Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions, including those specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, to the appropriate personnel.

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of individuals entering or exiting the location.

Follow all site-specific procedures related to the handling, storage, or monitoring of sensitive materials as required by the location.

Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding any incidents, concerns, or site-specific issues.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all patrol activities, incidents, and observations during the shift.

Minimum Requirements :

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
