Belay Technologies has been voted Baltimore Business Journal's (BBJ) Best Places to Work 2019, runner up in 2020 and a finalist in 2021!   Belay Technologies is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join our intel team.  We are seeking a Mid-Level Linux System Administrator to work on a fast-paced team of system administrators providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems for critical enterprise applications.  The selected candidate would manage IT system infrastructure, and any processes related to these systems and provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client, server, storage, network devices, Etc.    Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.   Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.   Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance Key Technologies :

  • Linux Ansible Terraform Windows AWS Atlassian Tool Suite ​​​ Candidates should have the following qualifications :   TS / SCI Clearance with polygraph A bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience as a system administrator on programs of similar scope and complexity is required.

In lieu of bachelor's degree fifteen (15) years of experience required In depth Linux experience Familiarity with PowerShell and Bash scripting languages Experience with system hardening  Experience working with ISSOs for system compliance DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 1 is required Candidates are desired to have the following skills :

  • Several factors influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, education, specific skills and competencies and certifications.

    • Salary Range :
