Machine Operator ll will be responsible for setting up and running specialized machine equipment (such as presses, un-coilers, roll-formers, and any other pieces of equipment as deemed necessary by management) to produce various designs and sizes of garage door sections and other garage door components. The candidate will also be accountable for the overall quality and storage of garage door sections and other garage door components, the preparing of rejected material(s) for return to vendor(s) and the housekeeping of the machinery and general work area(s).

Candidate will possess the ability to use a tape measure, micrometer, caliper, "feeler" gauge, and other mechanical tools as used in this position. Candidate will be required to use a computer, be certified to drive a forklift truck, certified to operate overhead cranes and operate a pallet jack, able to lift, carry, and set up rollers and dies onto the press, un-coiler, and roll-former weighing up to 50 pounds. Candidate must be able to carry out any additional assignments as instructed by the area supervisor and / or management team.
