SQL Developer / Data Analyst

Onsite : Brooklyn Park, MN

W2 / C2C

Principal Responsibilities :

  • Develop, test, and, maintain SSRS reports through a standardized process and format.
  • Maintain report directory.
  • Develop, test, and maintain data warehouse, data loads / transformations, and OLAP cubes.
  • Act as business intelligence system administrator.
  • Develop, test, and maintain data integrations between business systems.
  • Create and maintain data processes documentation.
  • Develop, test, and perform processes for standardizing and migrating data as part of migrating business systems.
  • Actively participate in, and sometimes coordinate user acceptance testing and issue tracking.
  • Identify problematic data areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct them.
  • Address issues and mitigate risks, communicate status to business stakeholders impacted by the project and proactively present potential solutions if needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or another relevant field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Information Technology with 3+ plus years as a Developer or Data Analyst.
  • Full understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Proven SSRS, SQL, MS Visual Studio, MS Development Studio skills and ability to understand and create complex stored procedures.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques.
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following ERP, PLM, CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    Start Date : Immediate Schedule : 8 : 00 4 : 30 |Onsite Mon Thurs, Remote Friday Duration : Initially 1 month (covering a leave of absence), but it may extend to 2 3 months Remote Flexibility : Limited (occasional for appointments, etc.) Travel : None Experience Target : 3 6 years (SQL is an absolute must; we do not need a senior / architect level) Key Tools : SQL, Microsoft SSRS (ERP, ETL techniques, and data warehousing are nice-to-have)
