Senior Director Of Learning & Organizational Development
The Senior Director of Learning & Organizational Development will lead the strategic design, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive leadership development programs and talent development programs for AdaptHealth. This leadership-level role will drive organizational capability building, succession planning, and leadership excellence across all business units and geographic locations.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans
- Partner with senior leadership and business unit leaders to identify critical leadership capabilities and development needs
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive leadership development programs from frontline supervisors to senior executives
- Establish learning governance frameworks, policies, and standards across the organization
Leadership & Organizational Development Programs
Design and oversee multi-tiered leadership development curricula including emerging leaders, middle management, and executive programsDesign and oversee Adapt Operating System trainingCreate succession planning processes and high-potential identification programsDevelop competency frameworks and leadership assessment methodologiesImplement mentoring and coaching programsOversee leadership onboarding and transition support programsOrganizational Development
Lead talent review processes and calibration sessions with senior leadershipLead initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, team development, and organizational culture enhancementDrive culture and engagement initiatives through learning interventionsPartner with HR to integrate L&D with performance management and career developmentSupport organizational change management initiatives through targeted learning solutionsTeam Leadership & Operations
Build and lead a high-performing learning and organizational development teamPartner with operational L&D team to create comprehensive programs for all employeesManage annual L&D budgetEstablish vendor partnerships and manage external learning providersImplement learning management systems and technology platformsTrack L&D class participation in an employee recordAssess employee satisfaction with L&D initiativesDevelop metrics and analytics to measure program effectiveness and ROIStakeholder Management
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent development mattersPresent learning strategy and outcomes to senior leadershipBuild strategic partnerships with business units, HR, and other support functionsRepresent the organization at industry conferences and learning consortiumsPromote the mission, vision, and values of the organizationDevelop and maintain working knowledge of current products and services offered by the companyMaintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAAComplete assigned compliance training and other educational programs as requiredMaintain compliance with AdaptHealth's Compliance ProgramPerform other related duties as assignedCompetency, Skills, and Abilities :

Education and Experience Requirements :
Masters in Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field7-10+ years of progressive learning and development experience5+ years in leadership roles managing enterprise-wide L&D functionsExperience in healthcare, medical device, or regulated industries preferredProven track record leading L&D in organizations with 5,000+ employeesPhysical Demands and Work Environment :
Work environment will be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate.Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen.Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and / or fingers due to extensive computer use.Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed.Physical and mental ability to analyze, problem-solve and lead others.Mental alertness to perform the essential functions of position and the ability to properly treat confidential information.Ability to work after non-business hours as needed.
