Work Schedule :

100% FTE, Monday – Friday, 8 hour days between the hours of 8 : 00 am and 5 : 00 pm. No weekends, holidays or call. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant  to :

  • Provide evaluation and treatment and follow up for a wide range of pediatric hepatologic, liver transplant, and gastroenterology disorders in an inpatient setting
  • Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessment on hepatology / transplant / gastroenterology inpatients and some clinic patients
  • Manage infusion orders and acute patient assessment in pediatric diagnostic center
  • See patients pre and post-procedure and manage complications related to procedures or surgery (includes patients having procedures done in interventional radiology – venograms, liver biopsies etc).
  • Collaborate with inpatient transplant team related to transplant patients pre and post transplant.
  • Advanced practice providers with experience or an interest in Pediatric Hepatology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, or PICU, would succeed on this team.
  • Education :

    If Nurse Practitioner :   Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.

    If Physician Assistant :   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.

    Licenses and Certifications :

    Minimum –  State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure

    If Nurse Practitioner

  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
  • Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following :  Family, Pediatric Acute Care, or Pediatric Primary Care.
  • If Physician Assistant

  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
  • Active PA board certification
  • All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have

  • : Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
