Recruiting Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Onsrud CNC machines and be capable of producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and production standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Machine Operation :

Operate Onsrud CNC machines to produce components according to specifications. Load and unload materials into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and setup. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.

Quality Control :

Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Make adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality and consistency. Document and report any defects or inconsistencies to the Production Supervisor.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting :

Perform routine maintenance on Onsrud machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues to minimize downtime. Work with maintenance staff for more complex repairs and maintenance tasks.

Safety and Compliance :

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control, production processes, and safety. Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a safe working environment.

Documentation and Reporting :

Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, production quantities, and any issues encountered. Complete required paperwork and enter data into the company’s manufacturing software system. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any potential issues.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Onsrud CNC machines or similar equipment.

Skills and Competencies :

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of CNC machine operations. Ability to use precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing software. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
