Responsibilities Work in a 15-bed LDRP unit with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms Patient care includes antepartum, labor and delivery, circulating, scrub nurse, newborn nurse at delivery, and couplet care RNs perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns Equipment used includes the ALGO 5 hearing screener and Epic EMR Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week from 19 : 00–07 : 30 Every other weekend required No call requirements Follows AWHONN staffing guidelines May float within the facility as a sitter as needed May float to Bronson Methodist Hospital for Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby as needed RNs will perform newborn infant hearing screens and lab draws Scrubs are provided Scheduled to work every other weekend No RTO allowed during the first 8 days of the contract Only one holiday RTO request allowed, either for the holiday or the adjacent day / evening, not both Will receive training on newborn hearing screening if not already experienced May be considered for longer contracts if desired Requirements Active MI RN license required Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery, OB, and Mother / Baby experience required Current certifications required : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and / or NCC C-EFM AWHONN Advanced certification preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Experience with circulating and FHM triage required Scrub experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623779.
