Firearms Sales Associate
The purpose of a Firearms Sales Associate is to provide exceptional customer service and expertise in firearms and related accessories. Your in-depth knowledge of firearms regulations, safety practices, and product features will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities include :
- Greeting customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Engaging customers in meaningful conversations.

- Assisting customers in selecting appropriate ammunition and accessories.

- Addressing customer concerns and providing resolutions.
- Establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Demonstrating product features and benefits.
- Utilizing upselling and cross-selling techniques.

Essential qualities include :
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in firearms sales or related field.Knowledge of firearms laws and regulations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in using computer systems for transaction processing.Strong commitment to maintaining a safe shopping environment.Physical requirements include :
Ability to stand for prolonged periods.Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 30 pounds repetitively and up to 50 pounds intermittently.Effective verbal communication skills.Close visual awareness.Ability to use a ladder and / or pallet jack.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.50 per hour, with exact compensation determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
