Join Our Dynamic Team as a Weld Repair Technician!

At Middleville Engineered Solutions, we’re seeking a motivated and experienced Weld Repair Technician to join our growing team. In this essential role, you’ll perform skilled MIG and TIG weld repairs and fabrication of production components to support manufacturing operations. If you take pride in your precision, problem-solving, and craftsmanship, we want you on our team.

Position Overview :

As a Weld Repair Technician, you'll troubleshoot welded assemblies, perform precision repairs, and ensure that all components meet our high-quality standards. This role plays a critical part in keeping production moving efficiently while upholding safety and quality at every step.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Weld & Fabrication Work : Perform MIG and TIG weld repairs and fabrication on production components.
  • Assembly Repairs : Dismantle, reshape, and reassemble parts to original specifications.
  • Tool Use : Operate manual and power tools for grinding and finishing tasks.
  • Spot Welding : Perform stress and positioning spot welds using resistance spot welders.
  • Inspection & Quality : Visually inspect products for defects, verify dimensions, and make adjustments to meet company standards.
  • Efficiency : Work proactively to meet and exceed production and quality goals.
  • Maintenance : Conduct routine maintenance on welding power sources and related equipment.
  • Improvement Focus : Recommend and implement improvements to methods, equipment, and overall quality.
  • Compliance : Follow all company policies, ISO procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Collaboration & Conduct : Maintain a clean work area, communicate effectively, and embody MES values (Family, Inventive Spirit, Appreciation, Give Back, Communication).

Requirements : Requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of MIG & TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds periodically and 30 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques and related maintenance.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to spot and solve problems independently.
