Start : As Soon As Possible
Pay Rate : $20–24 / hr
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 30 AM–4 : 30 PM
Overtime & On-Call :
After-hours emergencies and vendor access support required.
On-call rotation : One week (Friday–Friday) every four weeks.
Two hours of OT added for the week; additional pay for each on-call visit (minimum 2-hour OT per call).
Travel : Occasional travel to the Beechwood location (18 miles away) — mileage reimbursed.
Job Summary :
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems and equipment across a multi-building campus. This role requires hands-on expertise in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance , as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform daily HVAC inspections and system checks.
Conduct building walkthroughs to ensure operational integrity (lighting, bathrooms, general maintenance).
Complete daily work orders and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, including belts, filters, and greasing bearings.
Perform electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs as assigned.
Maintain and repair equipment and building systems to ensure efficiency and safety.
Support energy management and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Inspect and maintain tools and equipment; request service or calibration when needed.
Use Microsoft Office and work order software to document and close maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with team members to complete repairs and facility projects efficiently.
Required Experience :
3+ years of maintenance, facilities, or building operations experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems .
High school diploma or GED required; trade school diploma preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required for occasional travel).
Basic computer literacy , including Microsoft Office.
Nice-to-Have Experience :
Experience with commercial HVAC systems .
Background in industrial maintenance or property management .
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to learn new systems and procedures with minimal supervision.
