Highlights of this Assignment in Northern Minnesota :
Types of cases : Level III trauma with offering about half of the cases being general or ortho, and the remaining cases ENT, podiatry, Peds, OB and other adult specialties. Blocks and spinals are required.
Setting : Approximately 925 births annually. MDA’s do not cover all of OB as they have in-house 24-hour CRNA’s on call- but MDA’s will place epidurals if needed for back-up.
Care Team model : Anesthesia department consists of 5 anesthesiologists and 16 CRNAs ; MDA’s also will run their own rooms as needed and do pre-ops
Schedule : 40 hours per week guaranteed. M-F, Weekday call may be required 1 : 5; weekends available. Average day is 0630- 1500.
EMR : EPIC
Credentialing timeline : 60 -90 days. Flexibility to longer shifts / OT requested based upon facility needs.
Assignment Reimbursement :
Overtime : OT is after 8 hours per day when the provider is scheduled (5) 8’s. OT is after 40 hours per week. .
OT will be reimbursed at $475.00 / hr. to be paid at the nearest 15-minute increments.
Travel reimbursed, weekly pay + malpractice covered.
