Sr Finance Manager, Financial Planning And Analysis
The Sr Finance Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for Actuals, LBEs, Plans, LRPs, and managing spend of ~$275MM in support of Lake County Site Operations and Global Employee Health and Safety (EH&S). The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with both finance and non-finance personnel, a strong interest in operations and related downstream impacts on financial reporting, and the drive to enable and encourage continuous improvement. Position will report directly to the Associate Director of US Site Operations Finance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Units and manage budgeting activities for Plan, Update, LBE and LRP in alignment with Operations and Corporate requirements
- Assist in the development of multiple variable chargeout rates, monitor building expenses and divisional headcount usage for annual allocation adjustments
- Manage the month-end close cycle, working with business partners and other key stakeholders to align, anticipate, and understand financial implications of business decisions
- Support the capital planning process, provide guidance to business partners in the drafting of RCEs, and monitor timing of large asset capitalizations
- Manage Investment Responsibility reporting; work closely with FSS to maintain proper lease accounting
- Supervise and support 2 direct reports
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance10+ years of finance / accounting experienceProficient in systems / spreadsheet consolidation skillsPossess a working knowledge of the Corporate Financial Manual (CFM) and the ability to apply proper policies to business issuesMust be able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to change to achieve required timelines and can work in team environmentStrong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and communication skillsExcellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point and proficient in business applications, such as BPC and SAPExperience with SAP in large corporate settingKey Leadership Competencies :
