About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Cath Lab / Endo

License : Valid nursing license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : ICU background, cath lab experience, comfortable with monitoring sedation and medication titration, endovascular approach experience

Description :

This is a hybrid position in a Level II trauma center with a Level III NICU.

The facility is Magnet designated and a teaching hospital with 417 beds.

The unit will have a brand-new room that will serve as a hybrid cath lab / OR.

There will likely be 1-2 cases per day.

The ideal candidate will have experience in either cath lab or interventional radiology and specialized in endovascular cases.

The responsibilities include assisting with open and closed procedures, as well as various endovascular procedures.

Experience with the following procedures is required : TAMBE, TCAR, TEVAR, TAVR, TMVR, and AIFF.

Support within the department is provided by a charge nurse.

The technology and equipment used include EMR, IV pumps, and X-ray and hemodynamic systems.

The position requires flexibility and willingness to learn.

Scheduling will involve weekend rotations, likely working every other or every third weekend.

On-call duties are included, likely on-call every other to every third night.

Holiday work is expected, likely every other holiday.
