AMTS is looking for an Electrical QAR (Journeyman Electrician) to join our team in Hillsboro, OR. The ideal candidates will be responsible for NEC and other relevant code compliance and constructability resource for S emiconductor Construction Management and Engineering Groups.

Electrical Specific Information :

Support customers in driving resolution to design package and panel schedule issues

Manage the EEW, COHE and lock out / tag out procedures and sign-off

Review Electrical SIPP’s for accuracy of content

Skills :

• Able to communicate with trades (speak language of the trades). Technically skilled to act as the interface between trades, the designers and the tool owners. Need to understand tool drawing set for the corresponding functional area, to solve field contraction issues.
• Thorough understanding of respective discipline (EL, ME, PI, AR, LSS) to drive trade’s coordination. Understanding of Area Layout. Knowledge of microschedule for prefacilitation, understanding of sequence of construction activities and tool sequence.
• Able to track hours in the field and to assess earned value. Coordinate prefacilities readiness check lists.
• Able to resolve technical construction questions in the field.
• Strong knowledge is required in the following areas; local and national codes; construction drawings / symbols; acceptable industry standard / practices
