About The Position

Job Title : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist

Profession : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist

Specialty : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 1st

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : One year of current clinical experience in each modality preferred

License : Current State license as a Radiographer

Certifications : ARRT registered, Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bone Densitometry within 18 months of hire / transfer, American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent

Must-Have :

• Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program

Description :

Prepare patients and perform imaging procedures.

Operate imaging equipment effectively.

Perform diagnostic studies following specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.

Utilize appropriate radiation protection measures.

Adhere to organizational customer service standards.

Support organizational excellence initiatives.

Provide positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.

Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary.

Work in 2 or more of the following modalities : Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Work every weekend with variable days off during the week.

Typical shift is from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
