Job Description

As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver in Superior, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the site. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment through your presence and exceptional customer service. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. A Valid Driver's License and a Hair Follicle Drug Test required

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for irregularities within the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Document and report security-related observations, incidents, and / or hazardous conditions encountered during patrols.
  • Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points, checking credentials when required, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to communicate observations and escalate issues when necessary.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
