Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT certification and proficiency in CT scanning procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital CT Scan department
  • Perform general CAT scans including chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, trauma, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams
  • Shift is Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per night, totaling 40 hours per week
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Post-processing and CTA procedures are part of the duties
  • Responsible for minimizing radiation exposure for patients and staff
  • Assists in orientation and training of new staff and students
  • Expected to demonstrate reliability, communication, problem solving, and independent judgment
  • Acts in a leadership role regarding radiology care coordination
  • May work in situations requiring handling or access to medications and secured drug storage areas

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
  • Active ARRT certification required
  • Associate's degree required
  • Must have active license; license required if applicable
  • AHA certifications required and must not expire prior to assignment start
  • Experience with Epic charting preferred
  • Radiation badges must be supplied by the candidate / vendor
