Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Recreational Therapist position is available in the Los Lunas area, approximately 30 miles from Albuquerque, NM, for the uping school year. This onsite role requires travel to multiple school sites within the district, serving a caseload of approximately 35 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position runs from August 1, 2025, to May 22, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities :

• Facilitate social skills development for students with autism through group games.
• Support students with ADHD in managing energy levels via structured physical activities.
• Assist students with developmental delays in enhancing gross motor skills through adapted sports and recreational activities.
• Guide students with disabilities in utilizing munity resources and participating in recreational activities to promote munity integration.
• Provide support to students experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression through relaxation techniques and coping strategies.
